In support of elevating learning and teaching effectiveness to foster the high-quality development of Hong Kong and our country, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is spearheading digital education through diverse initiatives to equip teachers with cutting-edge technological expertise and practical applications. Hong Kong’s inaugural Digital Education Week (DEW), scheduled for 30 June to 7 July 2025, is organised by Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) in collaboration with the Education Bureau (EDB). It integrates the flagship Learning and Teaching Expo (LTE) with the International Summit on the Use of AI in Learning and Teaching (AIinLT) to foster deep exploration and innovative application of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies in education.
“Equipping the younger generation with future-ready skills is of paramount importance. The Education Bureau has actively promoted innovation and technology, including AI education, to align with global trends, support the national goal of building a strong education system, and contribute to Hong Kong’s innovation and technology development objectives.”
International Summit on the Use of AI in Learning and Teaching Languages and Other Subjects & Post-Summit Workshop Series (AIinLT) organised by the Department of English and Communication at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in cooperation with the Education Bureau (EDB), the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR), and Hong Kong Education City (EdCity), will be held from 4 to 7 July 2025 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
